A Personal Injury Attorney
Personal injury attorney John Hall was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. While at West High School, he began working as an oilfield rig hand in summers. Working on rigs for 10 years and later working as a drilling fluid engineer let him see first-hand exposure to industry dangers.
Hall earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biological science from University of California, Davis. While working as a fisheries biologist in Lake Tahoe, a series of events and life experiences sparked his interest in going to law school. Hall went to McGeorge School of Law at University of the Pacific in Sacramento. He graduated and passed the California bar in 1981. He gained 12 years’ experience, ultimately becoming a partner, at a large Bakersfield firm prior to opening the Law Offices of John C. Hall.
Hall’s legal experience in the oilfields and training in science serves him well when relating to clients about their situations. His understanding, combined with legal experience, translates to excellent credibility with clients, juries and judges.
Prior verdicts and settlements on behalf of clients include Mr Hall’s most recent Jury verdict for over $14,000,000, and several settlements for over $8,000,000. He has multiple seven-figure settlements/verdicts for injured parties. Over the years, Hall has tried in excess of 75 jury trials, and settled over one thousand personal injury cases resulting in excess of 100,000,000.
Hall is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). ABOTA is a national peer-referral association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the U.S. Constitution.
